Situated right on the stunning Noosa River, the Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club offers ideal sailing conditions for all ages, stages, and abilities. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build your skills, our club provides a welcoming and supportive environment to get you confidently out on the water.
Our diverse fleet includes Tackers, Vagabonds, Sabots, Optimists, Open Bics, Lasers, Status, and Blazer 23s – giving every sailor the right vessel for their learning journey. From juniors to adults, families to school groups, we offer a variety of Learn to Sail programs tailored to suit:
For those simply looking to enjoy time on the water, our FunSail program runs on Thursday and Friday afternoons — it’s all about relaxing, having fun, and experiencing the joy of sailing in a low-pressure setting.
Regattas
Enjoy Noosa River regattas at Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club, including the Stratogen Accounting InterSchool Regatta for school teams and the Noosa Gaff Rig Regatta, celebrating classic sailing, competitive racing, teamwork, community spirit, and support for Sailability.
Sailability
Our 24 week program designed to make sailing accessible to individuals with disabilities. This NDIS supported program offers a welcoming environment for people of all abilities to enjoy the water and is led by qualified instructors and supported by dedicated volunteers.
Club Racing
The Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club boasts a strong, varied and competitive sailing division. The local conditions are highly suited to trailer sailer style designs and the senior competitive activities are heavily represented by this class of boats.
