Who are Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club?

Boating activities have been part of life on beautiful Noosa River throughout its recorded history. Organised competitive rowing and sailing date back to at least the early 1950s when the Noosa River Sailing club and Noosa Rowing club came into existence

The current club structure came into being in 1984 when the previous rowing and sailing clubs decided to join together to form the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club. Please go to the Sailing and Rowing sections for details of sporting activities.

The club is open 7 days a week with bar trading from 11am until 10pm . In addition breakfast service is available on Sundays only from 8am to 10.30am .

NYRC provides the finest environment for dining or enjoying a cool drink in the Noosaville area. We are located in prime position off Gympie Terrace in the parklands of the river foreshore. The clubhouse is ideally equipped with broad outdoor decks offering stunning views of the beautiful Noosa river and surrounds while taking advantage of the cool river breeze. Glorious sunsets make the idyllic setting even more perfect.

We provide a full range of quality bar services and restaurant standard food at club prices for our members, their guests and bona fide visitors. Please go to Restaurant page for details, service hours and function bookings.

The relaxed atmosphere is further enhanced by the presence of live musical performers on a regular basis. See the events calendar on the Social Events and Clubs page for details.

Extensive, modern gaming facilities are also available.
